ate red, white, and blue pancakes for breakfast
listened to patriotic music
swam in the "pool"
dried off in the warmth of the sun on the stone field
got sunburned
grilled out hamburgers
ate watermelon and deviled eggs
decorated with little American flags on the picnic tables
thanked God for the USA
ate flag cake
played whiffle ball until it rained too hard
watched Yankee Doodle movie
It was a good day.
